A friend of ours gave us a cam for our 1966 buick special project its allready run an 11:97 and with the cam and our 150 shot surprise we sould be running below 11:50 which is a small problem. it is a problem because once you go faster than 11:50 you need a roll cage and we cant afford one plus my little bro wouldnt be able to get into the back seat very well. anyways back to the cam our friend Mike "66SSFan" on Team Chevelle gave me a super low mile (actually low hours - it came out of a hydroplane motor) Comp Cams custom ground solid flat tappet cam and lifters. Specs are 550/547 lift, 256/262 @ .050, and 285/300 Advertised duration, on a 106 LSA. All we need to do is pick up some one piece push rods, a gasket set, and then get to wrenching. the funny thing is that we are running a small block 74'chevy 350 bored 30 over in a 1966 buick special deluxe. for more info go to [link]
